UKIP, the Party Unafraid to Meet the Public, Unlike Tories/Labour/LibDems. Come to Bude and Have YOUR Say!

UKIP members Philip, Helen, Ivor and Miriel in Bude Today

They not only just don’t get it, they also won’t have it, will they! The Coalition that is!  In the Telegraph today there is an article called ‘The people don’t want a referendum on Europe, insists No10’.  It quotes “The British people do not want a referendum on the European Union at the moment, Downing Street has said.” It continued “In a claim that will irritate many voters and Conservative MPs, David Cameron’s spokesman said there was no popular support for it. Resolving the eurozone crisis was a greater priority, she said.”

Well it’s no wonder that none of the main parties, including the Tories, have open meetings with the public, as they know they are telling huge fibs; the majority of the people in Britain WANT a referendum on membership of the EU, and to LibLabCon's horror, the majority of the British people actually want OUT of this rich man’s club the EU, a club that is costing us £51,000,000 a day.

UKIP, of course, are not afraid of meeting the public!  In fact we have been leafletting Bude in Cornwall today to invite people along to the Parkhouse Centre, Bude, on the 21st June for a meeting with guest speaker UKIP’s MEP Stuart Agnew (see Event page for details) and other UKIP representatives.  Unafraid of questions, we will welcome everyone along to have their say and to also hear about the latest Brussels news and happenings in the EU, which concerns everyone in the UK.

We walked miles giving out leaflets today and we connect with the public, unlike the people in No 10 who tell us that we do not have to be consulted and also what we are supposed to think.  UKIP stands for freedom and for the men and women of Britain who want their country back. The Prime Minister and his spokesperson in the Telegraph article would do well to actually listen to the British people instead of spouting arrogant rubbish and dismissing what the majority of the public want.  UKIP knows what the British people want, a thriving, independent and free country which has the power to govern itself!   If you are in or around Bude on the 21st June pop along and have your say!!!!
